The collections of Zhejiang Provincial Archives are now of 264 fonds, nearly 540,000 volumes (pieces), including 3353 volumes (pieces) of Qing Dynasty, about 120,000 volumes in the period of the Republic of China, more than 1000 volumes (pieces) of the Revolutionary Historical period£¬about 410,000 volumes (pieces) after the foundation of the PRC. There are nearly 440,000 pieces in special media forms such as photo and audio-visual archives, about 90,000 volumes of materials, 190,000 volumes (pieces) of open archives and 600,000 items of open archives catalogue.
