Academic Thinking on Memory Field Theory And Archival Memory Research

Abstract:On the basis of interpreting the profound ideological connotation of the French historian Pierre Nora's memory field theory，this paper focuses on the academic inspiration value of memory field theory for promoting archival memory research.The article analyzes and puts forward the academic thinking of the memory field theory in deepening the understanding of archives as the "Memory Palace"，exploring the social mechanism of archives memory formation，reconstructing the dialogue mechanism between archives and libraries，museums and memorials，and promoting the theory and practice of rural memory site construction.
