Application of Narrative Expression in Archives Propaganda And Optimization Strategy

Abstract: Narrative Expression is a way of telling and inheriting social memory under the joint action of narrative form and event content. It has profound significance for interpreting the historical culture and national spirit of metaphor behind archives. The paper analyzes four cases of Chinese and foreign countries as roving exhibitions, Venetian Time Machine, Australian South African apartheid archives project, and British National Archives "Treasure Mission" game, exploring the existing experience and deficiencies of narrative expression's participation in archives propaganda. Then it proposes the optimization strategy including carrying forward the national core values to standardize the paradoxical guidance of narrative expression, choosing the logical clues of narrative expression based on the archives collection resources,attaching importance to tapping the potential archive value and realizing the realism of narrative expression,and mastering various media technology to enhance the audiovisual energy of narrative expression.
